I started feeling strange bubbles in my chest, and after seeking medical help, I was diagnosed with GERD and had to make lifestyle changes to manage the symptoms.

I see bubbles. It's a strange sensation, like tiny bubbles popping in my chest. At first, I thought it was just indigestion or maybe anxiety. But it kept happening, and I started to worry. I decided to see a doctor. After a series of tests, I was diagnosed with a condition called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It's a chronic digestive disease that occurs when stomach acid or, occasionally, bile flows back into the food pipe (esophagus). The bubbles I was feeling were actually caused by the acid reflux. The doctor prescribed medication and recommended lifestyle changes to manage the symptoms. I had to cut back on spicy and acidic foods, avoid eating late at night, and elevate the head of my bed to prevent nighttime reflux. It wasn't easy at first, but gradually, the bubbles disappeared, and I started feeling better. It's been a few months now, and I'm grateful that I sought medical help when I did. I've learned to listen to my body and take action when something doesn't feel right.
