Living with chronic tonsillitis and arthritis has been a challenging journey for me. It all started when I was in my early twenties, and I began experiencing frequent sore throats and difficulty swallowing. After numerous visits to the doctor, I was diagnosed with chronic tonsillitis, a condition where the tonsils become inflamed and infected on a recurring basis. The constant discomfort and pain made it difficult for me to carry out daily activities and affected my overall well-being.

As if dealing with chronic tonsillitis wasn't enough, I soon began to experience joint pain and stiffness, particularly in my knees and wrists. At first, I attributed it to overexertion or aging, but the symptoms persisted and became increasingly debilitating. After consulting with a rheumatologist, I was diagnosed with arthritis, a condition that causes inflammation and pain in the joints. The combination of chronic tonsillitis and arthritis made it challenging for me to lead a normal, active life.

Managing these two conditions has required a multidisciplinary approach.
