I was at a friend's pool party and desperately wanted to go swimming, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of pads. I had heard that tampons were more convenient for swimming, so I decided to give it a try. I went to the bathroom with a tampon in hand and followed the instructions on the package. However, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get it in. I was frustrated and embarrassed, and I didn't know what I was doing wrong. I ended up giving up and sticking with pads for the rest of the day. It wasn't until later that I learned about the importance of relaxation and proper positioning when trying to insert a tampon. I wish someone had told me that it's normal to struggle at first and that it takes practice to get it right.
