Directions
Step 1
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
Step 2
In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add the butter and melt it over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Step 4
Remove the chicken breasts from the skillet and set aside. Add the onions and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened.
Step 5
Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to coat.
Step 6
Pour in the Marsala wine and stir until the sauce thickens. Add the cooked bacon back to the skillet.
Step 7
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Step 8
Serve the Chicken Marsala with Bacon hot with pasta or mashed potatoes.
