Directions
Step 1
In a saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil.
Step 2
Add steel cut oats to the boiling water and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
In a separate saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
Step 4
Once the oats are cooked, remove from heat and stir in the hot milk.
Step 5
Cover the saucepan and let the oats sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
Step 6
Serve the oatmeal in bowls and top with blueberries, sunflower seeds, and a drizzle of honey.
