Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
Cut the cauliflower into florets and steam until tender, about 10 minutes.
Step 3
In a large skillet, cook the chicken sausage until browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes.
Step 4
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
Step 5
Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened, about 3 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Step 7
In a large baking dish, combine the cauliflower, chicken sausage, and cheese sauce. Mix well to coat everything evenly.
Step 8
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
Step 9
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
