Directions
Step 1
Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato slices until golden brown.
Step 3
Season the fried potatoes with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Toast the bread slices.
Step 5
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
Step 6
Place lettuce, tomato slices, and cheese on one slice of bread.
Step 7
Top with the fried potato slices.
Step 8
Cover with another slice of bread, mayo side down.
Step 9
Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
