Directions
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.

Add the water and olive oil to the bowl, and mix until a dough forms.
Step 3
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.

Roll each piece into a rope and tie it into a knot.

Place the knots on a greased baking sheet and let them rise for 15 minutes.

Bake the knots for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.

Remove the knots from the oven and brush them with the garlic butter mixture.

Sprinkle the knots with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
Step 13
