Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel and core the pears, then slice them into thin wedges.

In a large bowl, combine the pears, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well to coat the pears evenly.

Transfer the pear mixture to a baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the pear mixture in the baking dish.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the pears are tender.
