Directions
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, softened butter, and peppermint extract. Mix until well combined.
Step 2
Add sweetened condensed milk to the mixture and mix until smooth and creamy.
Step 3
Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten each ball with the back of a spoon to form a patty shape.
Step 4
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the patties to firm up.
Step 5
Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
Step 6
Dip each peppermint patty into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Place the coated patties back on the baking sheet.
Step 7
Place the baking sheet back in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
