Directions
Step 1
Preheat the grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Season the thinly sliced steak with salt and black pepper. Grill or cook on the griddle for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to desired doneness.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Split the sub rolls lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Step 5
Layer the cooked steak, sautéed onions and peppers, and provolone cheese on the toasted sub rolls. Return to the oven for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Step 6
Remove from the oven and serve the Philly Steak Deluxe Grilled Subs hot.
