Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2
Place the sausages on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
Step 3
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
Step 4
Add the bell peppers to the skillet and cook until tender.
Step 5
Slice the cooked sausages and add them to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
Step 6
Serve the sausage and pepper mixture on buns or with cooked pasta.
