Directions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
Step 3
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
Step 4
Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried oregano.
Step 5
Stir in cooked rice and tomato sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until heated through.
Step 6
Fill each bell pepper with the turkey mixture. Place them in a baking dish.
Step 7
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each stuffed bell pepper. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 9
Serve the Turkey Stuffed Bell Peppers hot and enjoy!
